Being a head cross country and track coach over the past 20 years has not made me an expert by any means. It has allowed me the opportunity to gain valuable experience and knowledge in setting up daily practices and seasonal training programs from the top to bottom. I have been a part of taking over successful programs, as well as starting brand new programs from nothing. The purpose of PROGRAM EVALUATION AND CONSULTING is to give those who may just be starting out in the coaching profession some basic groundwork and philosophy on how to get a program started or to progress an already existing one. Maybe you are already coaching and need some fresh ideas on how to take your teams to the next level. Or maybe you have been thrown into a cross country or track position and have little experience or background in the sport.
I also work with athletic directors to evaluate cross country and track programs in order to see if we can make the existing training programs better by fine tuning them or by making major changes. My goal would be to be a valuable resource for any coach or program that wants help in taking their athletes and programs to the next level.
These programs can be for Junior High, High School, or the College level.
